➡️ ICF Coach Connect ⬅️ Melbourne - SouthEast

Melbourne - SouthEast Coach Connect is a group of passionate ICF Coaches who come together regularly for peer support, professional development, professional networking, social interaction ... and to progress our shared commitment to creating a better world. We regularly have guest speakers who are leaders in the field of human development. Our events are almost always free - or very low-cost.

In addition to our regular meet-ups, we all provide peer support to each other ... evolving best-practice, business development, and human kindness and wellbeing.

We are part of The International Coach Federation, which exists to lead the global advancement of the coaching profession, with a global vision and mission of:

“A world where coaching is integral to transforming societies.”

“Advancing coaching excellence, impact and value worldwide”

Feel free to contact us and attend one of our wonderful gatherings!

Our co-convenors are Mike McGregor and Richard Dent OAM FAICD ... feel free to email to make contact!

Resources

Our shared resources - customised from our conversations, insights ... and plans for future discussions - are updated here.

Coaching and Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence is (arguably) best known for such online platforms as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft CoPilot etc. Media coverage is often relating to such platforms "hallucinating", or to the potentially very concerning environmental impact of AI servers, or the potentially very concerning social impact of potential job losses / industry repositioning and more. And yet such well-known platforms are merely one aspect of the evolving revolution: customised chatbots, user-developed workflows, and much more.

As professional Coaches, our group is starting to have conversations about our role during this forthcoming disruption - and in particular about how AI will shape the future of Coaching and our intended positive impact for individuals, organisations, communities ... and all humanity.

In this context we've assembled some very initial materials - all from 2025 or 2026 ... because AI is evolving so swiftly that even assumptions from 2024 or earlier may be deeply flawed (as, of course, may contemporaneous assumptions ...)

AI and Coaching: Some Outline 2026 Thoughts

One of our convenors has authored a one-page overview of some of the key considerations:
